“Possibly the best outlook of any cottage in Scotland. Set high up on a hill above Badcall and Eddrachillis Bays with outstanding views over the rocky islands and skerries, across to Quinag, and beyond to Suilven and Stac Pollaidh on a clear day. From the deck, we saw otters most days (in a scope!), white-tailed eagles, seals, porpoises, red and black-throated divers and much more. Scourie is around the corner with excellent snorkelling around the headland. Oldshoremore is an easy drive and is an outstanding crystal blue water beach. The house has an excellent open plan living area with multiple comfortable and well thought out seating areas, with a conservatory and deck from which to admire the view. It is recently modernised, and has a well-equipped kitchen, modern bathrooms and a useful utility. Comfortable beds. We were five but it would be fine for more.”
